Hi, I built a fence about 20 years ago with gate posts made of 120x140 pressure-treated lumber. The posts had all 4 corners at 90 degrees, not 2 semi-rounded sides as you find everywhere today.
I wonder if anyone knows where you can get 120x140 posts with 90-degree corners?
Regards,
Göran

140x140 glulam that you rip 20mm off on one side is probably closest.

Screw and glue 120x120 and a 22x120 board. Then bevel cut the corners or have someone else do it. Be mindful of where you screw so they don't end up near the saw cuts.

It would work with 140x140 because the embedded irons that hold the post are at the 140 measurement today. And I don't have a gate, so it doesn't matter if it builds a little inward.

Closest I can come at least, maybe 120x120 will work?

Planed beam impregnated 120x120 mm NTR-A post

If you can't find it, you might need to ask those who impregnate if they can arrange some impregnated ones for you according to your dimensions.
The metal fittings are set with 140 spacing so it should preferably be 140. Strange that it's not possible to find 120x140, does anyone recognize this dimension from before?

It can work as a last resort if I don't find anything else.
