Hello!
We have such a problem around the house. In 2016, the previous owner re-drained and used isodrän.
The question is what we should do or suspect. The isodrän on top appears to be "eaten away", if I can explain it properly. I’m attaching pictures to make it clearer.
Do we need to contact the insurance company?
Is there anyone kind who can help us understand what has happened and what we can do about the problem?
Regards,
Concerned homeowner.

That can't possibly be done correctly, the isodrän should be covered by a piece of geotextile fabric that is nailed with the plastic strip at the top. The strip should also always be placed below ground (about 10 cm) so it doesn't get damaged by UV radiation. The sealing against the top of the strip also looks subpar.
I don't know if the insurance company cares, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Otherwise, it involves digging it up and doing it correctly.

Thanks for the answer. Can it be included with the hidden defect insurance?P Prodigys said:That can't possibly be done correctly; the isodränen should be covered with a piece of geotextile nailed with the plastic strip at the top. If the defect can be seen in a few pictures in the forum, then it reasonably can't be hidden, can it?H Hibbe Muhialdin1 said:
Why does every home buyer today believe that defects they didn't personally see are hidden?
