Lower windows and shorter doors. Does it look odd?
There are some constructive advantages for me in placing windows at a slightly lower height than recommended. That means from the floor to the top of the window it is 200cm instead of 210cm. The same applies to interior doors. From a construction perspective, it is preferable to use doors with a height of 20 instead of the current standard of 21.
Mathematically, it's only 10cm difference but how does it work in practice, does anyone know? Especially how does it look inside?
Additional info:
interior ceiling height - 220 cm
windows - 18x14 (180cm x 140cm (w x h))

From what I understand, you are considering having lower doors and lower window placements because you have a low ceiling height and think it looks strange with little wall space above the windows and doors? I am quite short and wouldn’t have any problems, but the fact that doors are 210 cm as standard today is likely because people are taller now than before. A 2-meter tall person would not enjoy living in a house where everything is too low. Having to duck every time you pass through a door can be annoying, or having to bend down to see if the weather is nice outside... Just something like the placement of the bathroom mirror, surprisingly many have them placed low. It is probably more likely that you want to see your face rather than your chest.
I am 183cm and my wife is somewhat shorter, but I understand very well what you mean!
The reason is that I have to place the joists 220cm from the floor. The construction is in 20cm LECA.
If I lower the windows to 200cm, then I can place a LECA beam above and then proceed with the joists.
But maybe there are other ways??
The joists are 20cm and there might be some special beam shoes that can be attached to the LECA beam?
