Lower Ceiling in Apt
I want to update a bit on how it's going (actually not much progress).
I have taken down;
All wardrobe - kitchen, etc.
Removed all the old wallpaper in the kitchen-living room-(half in the hall) - my friend who is a painter wanted to keep the wallpaper in the bedroom (he said it will still look good, he's either lazy or a pro).
Removed the plastic matting in the kitchen, hall, and bedroom (we will lay new flooring over the old one in the living room as it would be uneven if we removed it).
Removed all doors and frames except for the bathroom's.
-----------------------------------------
I've been waiting to find an electrician for a month, finally coming tomorrow. I've also increased the budget. There were changes; I had to redo the electrical in the kitchen, no one wanted to drill, so it would have to be surface-mounted, hence I decided to lower the ceiling by 6(5.7) cm 100%.
After I removed a wardrobe in the hall, a lot of pipes emerged, so we built a drywall there. Closed off the door opening from the bedroom to the kitchen.

The hall;

Hi! I'm in exactly the same situation where I'm renovating an apartment with old tile adhesive that looks sandedL Link1np4rk said:I apparently had asbestos behind the tiles in the kitchen. The tiles are taken down, asbestos is removed but not completely. It looks more like sanded. So I don't want to deal with this anymore. Even though I had a mask etc., I started to feel mentally unwell.
I've cleaned everywhere but the asbestos that remains on the concrete (sanded), can you put putty over it?
Does anyone know?
Did you putty straight over? I’m thinking of doing that too.
