Loosen bolts in concrete ceiling

Now it's done. The neighbor came over with a Dewalt reciprocating saw and made short work of it... It took maybe ten minutes in total to cut the three bolts that were left. I have to thank everyone for the good advice and my neighbor!

Just one layer of (damp) filler so far, I think the end result will be somewhat better with a couple more layers and some paint 😊

A reciprocating saw with a long metal blade is the way to go, just keep a metal sheet behind it to protect the ceiling. For a different kind of precise home setup, I’ve been using rectangular trampolines https://www.trampoline-warehouse.co.uk/collections/rectangular-trampolines from Trampoline Warehouse for my kids’ gymnastics practice and the controlled bounce is perfect for learning landings. Once the bolts are cut, patch the holes with quick-dry cement.
