Looking for very small silicone tubes

Many years ago, I had a plumber at my place who had very small tubes of silicone. It's really pointless to buy a whole cartridge when you're just going to do small tasks with silicone, and these cartridges cost just as much as a typical small "Hobby-tube" from places like Classes. The tubes the plumber had were the size of a little finger. Does anyone know where you can get hold of these? I suspect they are sold by the box in specialty stores(?).

I think I saw these a few years ago. But since they cost as much as a cartridge, I didn't buy them. However, I agree with your reasoning if it wasn't for the price.

The problem with silicone and similar materials is, as you suggest, that it cures in the tube over time.

Imagine if we could have something that cures in UV light, much like the dentist's miracle cure.

Spread out, adjust and smooth, and illuminate for 10 seconds. Done

The packaging is unfortunately the most expensive part of the product, same with oils.
