We are in the process of repainting the ceiling and have just demolished a small partition wall that stuck out about 25 cm in the living room. There was flooring underneath, but in the ceiling, the ceiling panel had been cut out. My idea now is to try to put some sort of ceiling panel and spackle it so that it looks nice again.

Now the problem is that I can't find the same kind of panel.

Does anyone recognize this type of ceiling panel? See the image below.

Note that on the left of the image, there is a 2 cm piece of panel attached because it is a filler piece for another part of the ceiling.

The panel measures 11.8 cm, but has been bent slightly and should probably be 12 cm.

Isn't it the common type of inner panel "fasspånt" 120 x 12 mm?

Most building material suppliers should have it.
Take your sample piece and compare it with what they have.

Edit: Or surf the web a bit first.

We will try to keep looking. The wife was at Bauhaus and Byggmax with the sample piece and they didn't have it when she got help.

What is the correct terminology when searching - is it ceiling panel, interior panel, or fasspont?

Thanks for the link Oldboy! My wife went by Byggmax, but that panel you linked to does look very similar... I'll probably swing by and see if it could be used. The piece I have is 12 mm high, but as long as the rest matches, I can trim a mm off. I just need to fit a small piece.

Innerpanel is probably the most correct term, but unfortunately it's up to each website creator to arbitrarily name a product according to their own terminology.

This is what I found when I searched on Byggmax: [link]
