Hi.

I'm looking for a certain sealant that I've seen sheet metal workers and roofers often use. You can make very wide joints, and when it cures, it becomes like rubber, seems to adhere very well to most materials. It doesn't seem to be as sticky either as all the sealants I've tried.

I've also seen similar sealant at construction sites when they seal between two concrete walls, for example.

I primarily plan to use it when I replate the chimney in the future, but also for other fillings for cracks, gaps, or joints outdoors.

I've seen both black and gray in color.

There are probably a lot of different brands, but maybe you have tips on one?

I've tried buying a bunch of different ones from the local building suppliers, but I haven't found anything decent, I think.

might be harder to find. Try with glaziers/larger construction companies/those who work with facades. (600ml sausages only, requires special gun)

For covering on roof/sheet metal [link]

Purchase at Wurth/from sheet metal workers

Best regards, fremax
Thanks for the tips! :)

That one from Wurth looks interesting, but I read that someone said it was very messy to work with and not particularly good.

Anyone with more tips?

I have many hundreds of so-called skyddsrumsfog left over. You can have a package. Located in Nacka :)

Can I use this to seal between sheet metal and brick?

I would love to but I live in Karlshamn so unfortunately, I can't pick it up :(

Yep, it's good for that. Sikaflex is the manufacturer. Ok, too bad.
