I'm planning to hang a heavy lighting fixture in an old smooth-painted gypsum ceiling. I know from other rooms that the ceiling barely supports itself, so I don't want to hang it from there. To avoid making major alterations to reinforce the ceiling, it would be convenient if there were long lightweight concrete screws that could reach all the way to the lightweight clinker floor above. It's 190 mm up to this. Lightweight concrete screws about 300 would be okay? I only find 200 mm. Any ideas?

What does the fixture weigh? Lättbetong you say, kind of like sipporex? Regardless, I think you'll have trouble driving in a 130mm screw without it breaking.

Do it like this:
1. Mark where you will attach it on the drywall.
2. Drill through the drywall with a 12mm drill bit.
3. Take a hammer drill and a long 10mm concrete drill bit, and drill at least 300mm from the bottom edge of the drywall.
4. Put a 10mm concrete plug on a screw and gently push it up and into the hole.
5. Gently tap the screw head with a hammer so that the plug goes into the hole.

That's how I've done it a few times, it's a bit fiddly, but it works.

Good luck!
