Planning to build a loft staircase and considering the riser height. 11 steps give approx. 21 cm and 10 steps approx. 23 cm. What do you think would be best, 10 or 11 steps?
The typical staircase formula doesn't work on such a steep staircase, 2*tread depth+riser height=63. However, 23 cm fits well with the stair curve http://www.nilseinareriksson.se/trappkurva.pdf but 23 cm feels quite high, although it might work well on such a steep staircase, right?

23 cm feels very high in my ears. Will be difficult to walk in.
I would have chosen the lowest possible.

Agree, but it is a very steep staircase and they usually have a higher step height, however, I can't find any recommendation on how high. But according to the stair curve I linked to, it should be 23 with the tread depth I have for it to be comfortable to walk in...
