Hello,
Is there any kind soul who can look at the drawings to see if the marked orange area might be load-bearing? Alternatively, where can one turn to check if the walls are load-bearing? In the living room (including the marked area), walls have been knocked out. Right now there seems to be some kind of beam in the living room that sounds hollow when you knock on it. Also, there are two "columns" on either side of the living room. It has a certain curvature as well, so I want to investigate if we need to put the walls back according to the drawings.

  • Floor plan with an orange-marked area in the living room. The plan includes rooms labeled "Vardagsrum," "Allrum," and "Sovrum," showing potential load-bearing walls.
  • Orange markings on a ceiling beam and vertical posts in a living room, questioning if they indicate a load-bearing structure.
More information is needed to understand how the house is constructed. Preferably a sectional drawing. Year of construction? Where was the picture taken? A single-story house like this (1970 +) usually has self-supporting trusses and therefore no load-bearing internal walls. However, there are some strange details on the drawing that I cannot decipher due to low quality.
