Hello!
I want to double-check, this isn't a load-bearing wall, right? It's the black ones on the drawing that are load-bearing, right?
Just a regular drywall.

  • Floor plan with a red circle highlighting a wall in the kitchen/dining area. Question about whether this is a load-bearing wall.

It is likely as you think, but we do not know your house.

There can be gypsum on both load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls.

The ridge runs along the black heart wall?
In that case, it shouldn't be load-bearing, but please attach the actual file next time instead of a screenshot of a small part of the house.

If the roof trusses are in the same direction as the wall, then it is not load-bearing; the roof trusses then sit on the central wall in the center of the house and the outer walls. But note that there may be EL in that wall, and the pipes for it will certainly come from above. That can cause some issues. Not uncommon.

Hello!
Thanks for all the answers!
Yes, it's correct that the ridge runs along with the black.
I’m attaching better pictures.

  • House floor plan showing upper and entrance levels with room sizes in square meters, featuring bedrooms, living areas, and kitchen.
  • Cross-section of a house blueprint showing dimensions, with a peaked roof. The ridge line aligns with a black line, as indicated in the context.

Not entirely sure, here it’s the opposite as well, i.e., load-bearing in both directions. Which is strange. But on the TS drawing, it looks like the wall to be demolished is not load-bearing. You can always proceed carefully during demolition.

Two floors and a heart wall in the center, then the joist layer rests on it and the outer walls.

Doesn't look like a load-bearing wall. No core wall.

What is drawn on the section drawing is what is load-bearing. That is, the heart wall that runs through the entire house lengthwise.
