Hi, I'm in the process of tearing down some walls. We were planning to keep this wall stump, but now my wife wants a trellis... According to the blueprint and previous residents who thought they remembered a trellis, I started tearing it down. But I got a bit unsure since it looks like this is the original wall and that it's drawn differently because it's load-bearing.
Any ideas?

  • Wooden wall corner partially dismantled, revealing structure near a kitchen area, possibly indicating a load-bearing wall due to renovation work.
  • Blueprint of a house's ground floor with marked dining area; handwritten note questions if a wall is load-bearing. Pink arrow points to the area in question.
Do you also have a section drawing so you can see the roof trusses? It is probably not load-bearing but an extra check wouldn't hurt.

Don't know if one becomes wiser from these, quite a long space without a wall on that side. Both walls against the chimney have already been removed.

  • Blueprint sketch showing a building elevation with removed walls and chimney space, alongside technical notations and diagrams.
  • Blueprint of a building showing side elevation and section view, with measurements and material indicators, possibly for renovation guidance.
  • Blueprint of a building's basement, showing floor plan with labeled rooms like garage and gillestuga. Facade drawing at top mentioning "fasad mot nordost".
it is not load-bearing

You're welcome
It's gone now, the house is still standing! There will be a trellis with some sturdy corners before winter :)

  • Interior under renovation with wooden ceiling, cabinets, a stepladder, and tools. Pale yellow walls and a window in the background.
  • Indoor home renovation scene with tools and furniture; a partially removed wall reveals a bright kitchen, and there's a view to a garden outside.
  • Wooden interior wall partially removed, exposing structure; floor covered for protection during renovation.
