Hi Forum,
I have a typical 1 1/2 story house built in 1973, 8.3 m wide. I need to find out if the wall that basically divides the entire house is load-bearing. Today, there is an opening from the hallway to the living room that is about 2.8 meters wide. Above the ceiling panels right at this opening, there is a steel beam. Otherwise, it seems that there are only wooden studs up at the ceiling and on the concrete slab where the vertical studs, which are 70*45 mm, placed 400 mm apart, rest. There are no K-drawings left. I only have A-drawings. Neither the municipality, the A-agency, nor the K-firm have any drawings left.
What I know is that the roof trusses, 11 in total if you count the gables, are spaced 1200 mm apart and in between there are intermediate beams. I have made a simple sketch of what it looks like.
Anyone daring to answer the question?
Grateful.
