Can the opening on the right be matched with the left one? We assume this wall is not load-bearing despite running parallel to the ridge, the studs are 45*70, and built in construction compartments. We thought large openings could look nice, so we tried demolishing as you can see on the opening to the left, now we are considering either doing the same on the left or rebuilding the left opening to match the right one. Indecision over the aesthetics as well.
Thoughts?

  • Construction project showing a partially opened wall with clear plastic sheeting, wooden framing, and construction materials on the floor.
  • Framed wall structure with partial openings on both sides, showing construction materials and a glimpse into a furnished room in the background.
  • Construction area with incomplete openings in a wall, featuring exposed wooden beams and tools like a broom and coiled cables on a tiled floor.

I assume you're not going to have doors?
