That gap between OSB can be taken with a grain of salt...
I've built several houses where they lie flush against each other and it works just fine.
If you have such high humidity that they swell, you probably have other problems to worry about....
Actually, I believe like you. But with OSB it is self-regulating since they are 1197mm wide. When you install chipboard, I have read that you should have some mm of movement allowance at the beginning and end of each continuous wall section. That is, movement allowance in corners, etc.
You should absolutely not screw the drywall into the stud if you have OSB behind it. And that thing with gaps you should take with a grain of salt, Imported is absolutely right.
