I have purchased a new villa where the upper floor will be renovated with new finishes and layout. A challenge before laying the floor is that the current subfloor (from 1972) is not completely level.
After talking with flooring stores, I need to level the subfloor to achieve a good result with our planned vinyl click flooring (from Golvabia if anyone has experience with their vinyl flooring?).
Are there any experienced people on the forum who have ideas on the best way to level the substrate? As I understand it, there are many different options: chipboard, plywood, OSB, self-leveling compound, etc.
