I am renovating the laundry room in the basement and have torn down a plastic mat that was previously on the wall. I have scraped off all the "crap," so now it's clean plaster, except for a small spot where the plaster was loose, so I reached the "foundation stone" there. The house was built in 1958, and I think it has lime plaster today, 10-20mm.
Now the surface of the plaster has become uneven and choppy after all the scraping and chiseling, so I want to try to even it out without having to plaster the entire room with everything that entails.

Could I use it to level the existing plaster, like spreading it over the old plaster? I thought about applying "regular" plaster first on the spots where the plaster is completely missing and then "skim coating" the whole walls thinly with combimix.
Would that work, or any other tips on what to do?
