Hi, I will soon start framing the log wall in the bathroom.
I will frame at cc45. (Might tile in the future)
Plywood, drywall, and waterproof flooring as surfaces.
I wonder how I should handle the log frame, should I seal it with flax tow? What is the next step?
Hope 45x45 studs are ok?
The log frame has been additionally insulated externally by previous owners.

That particular wall was aligned with 45x45 studs and insulated with cellulose insulation. If I had used 45x75, it would have resulted in a thick wall. I didn't have any pipes in the wall.
Used pieces of Masonite behind the studs, the length of the stud could vary 0-10 mm.
Do you have windows?
Timber moves with seasonal changes, snow load etc.
So do not anchor the bathroom in such a way that the two walls cannot move vertically relative to each other.
Could be a risk I think..
