Length of screw for attaching 70 studs to ceiling?

Mmm - personally, I have 28mm råspont in my garage ceiling, nailed with 4" galvanized nails into the rafters. The previous owner, and builder, was probably worried that it wouldn't support the spånet.

Ooops, is there 28 mm råspont available to buy?

That sounds more like flooring wood.

And it sounds really tough to nail four-inch nails up into the ceiling!
Arms and shoulders probably take enough strain as it is for a homeowner.

The studs should be across the other studs? In that case, I would probably have chosen angles and comb screw instead.
