I have built an extension on my house. About 20 sqm.

Due to various circumstances, the money has run out, and the construction is now unfinished. What remains are interior walls, floorboards, and roof planks. Wet room spackling and wallpapering are also needed, but I realize I'll need to pay a professional for that.

I've been considering buying leftover materials from other constructions, things that might otherwise just sit unused.

Does anyone have ideas on where to start looking and how to proceed?

Even second-hand materials like doors are of interest.

Where I live there is a Facebook group for building materials bought/sold/given away.

Check if there is any local company that buys leftover materials from construction sites, or if you have a larger construction site nearby... ask if you can buy what might be left over.

Also, self-leveling compound and wet room wallpaper, but I realize I need to pay a professional for that.

In Malmö, there is, for example, Återbyggdepån, which sells used/leftover building materials. Mainly items like doors, windows, etc., as well as stone & brick. There might be similar places in other parts of the country.

Hi! Maybe it's late, but I have a lot of leftover material on byggöverskott.se if that would be of interest to you.
