I am building a foundation wall for a greenhouse. I have bought Finja's base blocks with a notched top.
Now that I have laid everything, I realize that it won't be level on top because of the notch.
What is usually done about that?
Do you turn the last block so that the notch is down?
Now that I have laid them with the notch up, what should I do to get a level top?
I see a few different options: either apply a layer of mortar or fine concrete, or plaster it level.
What is usually done, what are your best tips?

Here's a picture.
The groove is meant for the rebar to lie in, as I understand it.
It is about 1 cm deep.
Fine concrete needs 2 cm thickness, so it might be a bit tricky to get it right, I think.
