I think you misunderstand, the problem is the air in the flex conduits that then gets cooled and can condense and then run down to the box. If out can cause a short circuit.

It can be prevented by sealing the pipe at one end with insulation or similar, but it feels like an unnecessary solution since you can instead place the conduits on the warm side of the insulation and avoid the problem altogether.

Yes, I was fooled by all the plastic in the last picture. I assume there's not plastic on both sides of the wall...

You don't need to open the wall to seal the pipes. It's enough to open the junction box.
