Wondering if anyone has a good suggestion on how to cut a 20cm (diameter) round hole in a 16mm MDF. The hole must be "round" so a jigsaw is probably not an option...

Then you probably use the milling machine + accessories to mill circles.

Hole saw?
Otherwise, draw the line and use the jigsaw
a few mm inside and file or sand the last bit.
What tools do you have?

Jigsaw with circular guide works perfectly! However, I don't know if it's available for other brands than Festool.

Hmm
A circular jig like that doesn't seem too difficult to make for your own jigsaw, a "metal strip" of the right dimension, and a hole at the end of the strip.
Then you put a small screw or nail in the hole!
I think I'll make one for my saw :D
