Hi,
There are 8 mm holes in a drawer front. I'm going to attach leather handles, but the screws for these handles are much smaller, 3 mm. Is there something I can use in these holes to make them tighter? I'm afraid they might be loose.

Fill with 8 mm dowels and drill new 3 mm holes in them ...S somesundaymorning said:

I don't think they will slip, but if you want to be safe, you can take an 8mm nylon plug and cut it with a knife or chisel to the same thickness as the panel, and then just drive the screw through the hole in the plug. Alternatively, you could just wrap some electrical tape around the screw a couple of times until it's about 8mm.
