Hello!
I need tips on method and material.
I am in the process of furnishing an attic.
I have chosen 45x45 as battens with the intention to also insulate 45 mm between them.
How is it best to keep the insulation in place before the panel goes up, as it tends to fall out in the sloped ceiling.
Is there some form of net or fabric or maybe do you use string..?
What is usually done?

I used snöre. Cut the insulation a few centimeters wider than between the glesen so it stays in place while you pull the snöre.
Don't know if this is textbook, but this is how I did it.
If you're going to apply plastic, you can attach a piece of plastic/moisture barrier (say 20cm) with a staple gun and then push the insulation into the sections, staple further, etc. Holds up well for 170cm insulation, sags a little but that will be fixed when the ceiling is in place (I hope).

String and nail I used.
Just make sure to keep your mouth closed and breathe as little as possible when you're putting the insulation in place. It dusts something brutal and due to Newton, all the "boss" falls right down in your face.
