I am going to move a wall 30 cm backwards to get a larger kitchen. The wall contains 5 electrical outlets. So my question is as follows: How do you install the electrical boxes in the wall? I've never done it before, hence the question. Apparently, there is a type of saw that can detect where the boxes are behind the wall, is that correct?
No, I will not rewire the electricity myself, I just want to place the boxes on site and install the conduit pipes.
I did it myself when the bathroom was remodeled, but then I used a so-called 'senildosa' for the underfloor heating thermostat.
Now I want to use regular boxes which seem much easier to extend pipes from.
Grateful for answers.

Magnetic "holefinders" but check with the electrician first that it's okay for you to pull conduits and install boxes. This requires certification as conduits and boxes provide the final and possibly most important protection for the conductors.

Thanks for the answer! Yes, of course, I'll check with him; it was all right for the bathroom. But how on earth do you attach them, that's what I'm wondering...snickarboden said:
Nail in the rules. look at the boxes, there are holes so you nail them "sideways" against standing studs.
I believe he would appreciate it if you fasten the VP pipes with clamps and not nails, and it might be good that you don't drywall over it before he has looked at it.

Thank you again then!snickarboden said:
There are enough clips left from the bathroom installation, and I will, of course, show him the installation, just like you said, before I close everything up completely.
