Hello, I saw at a friend's place that there are joist hangers that, when you screw them into the mounting bracket, you screw them from the inside, so the screws aren't visible. These were for glulam with a width of 42, I believe.

But if you search for balksko invändig (spikfläns), you get a decent number of hits. Should be available in various places.
