I am looking for a sheet used for splicing plasterboard. I saw one at the hardware store that was made for external plasterboard but cost 100 SEK for 3 meters. It had a profile that looked like it was designed for placing the plasterboard on for easy installation.

I need one for vertical splicing as I have sparse spacing with horizontal 45x45 and want to avoid using noggins. Is there a better product available, or should I buy scrap metal from the tinsmith?

I understand your wish, but wouldn't it have been faster to use a 45*45 instead of driving around looking for joint plates or other plates?
Would a 45*45 be in the way of the electrical wiring, perhaps? And is that why you don't want to use it?

It's probably for the sake of speed! It was a carpenter acquaintance who tipped me off and said I shouldn't stand there kortla like a fool.

Do you not have any plyfa scraps to use as nogging timber? The sheet you are looking for is sold in 50m rolls at the hardware store, not sure if it can be purchased per meter.

I saw a roll of sheet metal that had a pattern in the middle the last time I was there. I'll have to ask if it's the one.

If I kortlar with plyfa, it won't attach to the studs but maybe that doesn't matter?

It is the sheet that is designed to be folded in the middle. There is also a sheet that cannot be folded. The plyfa does not need to be attached to the studs.

Sure, the gaps are so close together that there won't be any sway. I don't have any plywood, but I do have a lot of floor chipboard that I'm tearing up.
