Hello!
Is there anyone with experience in old piers? I have little to no experience myself.
I have an old stone pier that partially collapsed over the past year. (We took over the cabin 1 year ago.)
This stone pier has been a concrete pier, which can be clearly seen from the old concrete remnants that remain.
I have tried to get an exemption from the shoreline protection to build in wood, but NO! So I thought of recreating what was there before.
Can you re-cover the "stone pier" with concrete?
What should I look for in terms of construction?
What should be considered?
Does anyone know what this might cost?
Grateful for answers!
Best regards,
Peter
