I removed insulation from two T-joints on the heating pipes, just wondering if it's asbestos or not.
I know the yellow isn't asbestos. There wasn't really any dust or powder, but is there asbestos in the white outer layer?
Then by chance, I found a small roll of fabric, I assume it's for heating pipes, is there asbestos in it?

Insulation materials and a small roll of fabric on a table, possibly used for heating pipe insulation. Concerns about asbestos content in the white layers. Two T-joint heating pipes with removed insulation, revealing yellow and white layers; query about potential asbestos content in the outer white layer.

I can't comment on the weave, but the white paint is apparently sometimes able to contain asbestos (which was added to make the paint "drip-free"). Impossible to know without sending in a sample (or examining with your own microscope). It looks the same in my house, but I haven't had to tear it down yet.

I suspect that there is no asbestos in it.

Looks like fiberglass with plastered bandages on the outside.

Agree, doesn't feel like it would be any asbestos. Just wanted to be sure plus I'm a bit curious!
