Is sill sealing needed between wood & wood?

all this fuss about Syll between timber and poured foundation and concrete.

But what if, like me, you've built a crawl space foundation using piers that have metal shoes attached to the piers, followed by wood, wood, wood...
So Wood frame, wooden floor, and wooden studs for the wall to the roof?

No, but make sure the windbreak goes all the way down to the sill and it will be good.
