I have some delays in the kitchen renovation because I can't get hold of the molding. I bought a similar molding at panel and list in Sthlm, but it's not exactly the same - and the below molding from Södra is very similar to the original moldings in the house and this room has a door with original molding, a window that is already finished with Södra's molding. I now lack about 20m of molding (2 doors, 1 window). Above all, molding is needed for 1 door, I have some, but not enough for the whole door - to be able to proceed and tile above the bench (it should connect to the molding and I want to do it in that order to ensure it looks nice).

After various troubles, I have now been informed that it may possibly be available in 2 weeks as it was a special order at Södra (they apparently didn't have it in stock themselves).

What I now wonder is if anyone knows if this molding might be in stock somewhere in Stockholm or Uppsala.

It seems Södra is having trouble delivering this, I've now waited 4 weeks... :(
First from Beijer, but they wanted extra payment for shipping if I wanted it faster than in a few weeks. XXL brings home free shipping from southern 1 time per week, but of course, it's back ordered from southern... :(

Just found out that Fredells has a similar one, but ALMOST the same profile, but the measurement 21x115 should be the same... They should have it in stock if I understood correctly.

Panel and list inside sthlm had a similar profile, but 5mm narrower. Bought a bunch of those, since they apparently always have them in stock and have had them in their assortment since the 60s. So in the next room, it will be this list, so you can buy more as needed, instead of having to keep your own stock.

Some might think I'm silly over 5mm. In my case, I've adjusted some other parts to exactly the width 115, so for example the list below the window, a joint in the pantry, etc. looks completely wrong with 5mm narrower (right here 5mm makes a big difference and I had completed this before I realized the moldings were out).

So for future "profile seekers" who find this thread, it's good to know that the construction chains (krauta, bauhaus, beijer) don't seem to stock anything but modern standard moldings, but Panel and list as well as Fredells seem to be better at it...

Fredells probably has its own woodworking mill.
