Is it possible to tear down a wall?

Hello! I'm wondering if it's possible to tear down the wall below as we want a larger living room.

Attached image, marked in red. I thought I'd ask the forum before contacting a contractor. These are the drawings I have of the house.

It was really very difficult to see anything, very small, but I think the wall you want to tear down is an old exterior wall so it may be load-bearing. A structural engineer can investigate further.

Since you obviously have the drawing as an image file on your phone, could you please upload it in the thread? That would make it much easier to see!
