Hello!

We are somewhat interested in an Anebyhus built in 1990, does anyone know if it has single drywall or construction board+drywall in the interior walls? I've heard that Anebyhus is supposed to be quite sturdy, experiences are gratefully received!

Anyone living in an Anebyhus built around the '90s who can provide some help?

Hi, we indeed built our house in 2004 but we had to actively choose to add a building board behind the drywall, so the standard *today* is just drywall.

We built an Anebyhus in 1991. On our house, there was a board sheet followed by plaster. That was the standard then, so it's likely on the house you're interested in. But ask the owners, they should know since it makes it much easier to put things up on the walls.

Thank you for your answers!

...is there perhaps someone who has an Anebyhus built in 1989 with board+gips as standard? If so, I have "circled in" that we should also have it...

Hello,

I don't know if this info is relevant, but:

I built an Anebyhus in 1981-82 - it's a so-called "Miracle house" (the miracle was: Cheap - incredible value for money) partially modularly built in a factory. All interior walls are built with (10 mm) particle board + (12 mm) gypsum board. Other "non-miracle houses" were slightly more expensive and had (20 mm) rough planks + (12 mm) gypsum. Both types, however, allow for secure mounting of shelves, etc., on the wall without special requirements for, e.g., gypsum screws/anchors. An Aneby house often has significantly higher quality regarding material choice, etc., compared to competitors.

I asked the owner but didn't get a clear answer, the realtor thought it was plasterboard. Now the papers are signed, so there's not much to do about it...I'm just curious.
