What material have you chosen for the walls?
Right now we have a house built in -47, so all the walls are constructed with solid wood boards, which is nice when you want to screw things into the walls. But what about new houses? Do you put up drywall and something behind it?
I've been looking into building stone houses, and then you have the possibility of having the interior walls in lightweight concrete - Advantages/disadvantages?
Personally, I find it a big advantage if the walls can dampen a lot of sound.

OSB looks like a board made of compressed wood chips instead of sawdust.

We have tongue-and-groove panels on both sides of our interior walls, although I understand it's not very common today.
It's darn sturdy; it really showed when I installed the in-wall speakers.

Last year when I was going to buy, I got quotes from a lot of different places. I bought two pallets of OSB and with that quantity, Beijerbygg in Haninge was actually the cheapest. Quite unexpected since they are generally as expensive as 17 otherwise...
We were choosing between OSB and råspont. You might think råspont is good, but OSB is much faster and easier to set up, takes up less space, and is just as good to fasten into. OSB is a bit more expensive though. I think we would have paid 40-45/square meter for råspont and 50 for OSB. Approximately. On the other hand, there is more waste with råspont, so it might balance out. If you have hired labor to install, OSB becomes significantly cheaper.
