Hello,
I'm in the process of insulating for underfloor heating in our bathroom.
The house is old, and in two spots in the bathroom, there's a stone base, and there I want to lay the insulation tightly against the old beams/stone base.
I've stapled plastic there so that the insulation doesn't lie against the stone and absorb any moisture from condensation. The plastic ends just below the asphalt board. The idea is to make some breathing holes in the plastic so that it doesn't get too tight against the battens.
Am I thinking somewhat correctly?
I'm requesting quick responses as I plan to start insulating tomorrow.
Best regards, Gordon
