I live in a house built in 1936, with a basement mostly above ground. About 25 cm of the exterior walls are below ground. The floors have been excavated and underfloor heating installed with 20 cm of foam insulation underneath.

What should be done with the walls? I was thinking of installing steel studs with a 45mm air gap and 45 mm insulation on the inside since most of the walls are above ground. There will be tiles on the walls and floor tiles on the floor. Should I skip using plastic? The vapor pressure shouldn't be that high when such a small part is below ground, right? Grateful for any opinions...
