Hello!

We have had a garage built, but they didn't want to finish the interior completely with paneling. As it is now, it consists of:
Wood panel-studs/insulation(gullfiber)-wind barrier
If one is to install OSB boards on the inside, do you also need to put up vapor barrier plastic first or is the wind barrier below enough? Could there be issues without a vapor barrier in a garage that is kept frost-free?

S
is it paneling, studs, and insulation and then a wind barrier?

Yes, from what I can see, that's how it is, from outside to inside.

S
then it sounds incorrectly constructed

That wall was originally constructed to be uninsulated, and they added the insulation afterward, so I'm not surprised. Given the current conditions, does it get better or worse by placing plastic inside the OSB?

S
Insulation has no function if you have it on the cold side of the wall. But if you put OSB first
