Insulate or not under a parking lot?

I am planning to build a parking area for two cars. Therefore, I have excavated about 50cm and will now fill it with various materials according to recommendations. However, what I am not quite clear on is whether I should lay groundwork insulation (5cm of foam plastic) or not. Various people in the industry say there should be insulation, but instructions on, for example, Benders' website do not mention it...

So my question is: Is it wise or foolish to lay 5cm of insulation at the bottom, under all the crushed aggregate and everything else?

At the top, I will lay paving stones (210x140x60).

PS: I hope for an answer soon as I am approaching this step very quickly...

If you're not going to have heating coils, it's silly to insulate.

As I understand it, ground insulation is primarily to prevent the frost from lifting the ground. I've looked into this a bit for an upcoming project and I reason that if the surface doesn't have frost heave problems today, ground insulation is probably not needed. So I will skip it for my project.

Yes, it was mainly to avoid frost heave. At the same time, I had to dig about 1m which means that the incoming water and sewage are currently at about 50cm. I was thinking of adding insulation above these pipes anyway, and while I'm at it...
