I have a simple garden shed that I've thought about insulating a bit on the walls, mostly because I have a lot of plywood to line the inside with. Is there any danger/risk in putting in 45mm insulation and then lining with plywood on the inside? I mostly want to avoid wind and rain coming in through the gaps. Do I need a ventilation gap, wind barrier, etc.? It's just a simple garden shed, as I said, that will never be heated.

Yes, the wall must be sealed from the outside! Otherwise, mold will quickly start to grow. The insulation also won't be effective if air blows into it, causing it to cool. Normally, such a wall consists of Wood paneling->Air gap->Wind protection->Insulation/frame, where wind protection like Windyduk is also moisture-repellent.

Okay, so is it better to just cover the inside with plyfa without anything in the wall?
If I say I want to cover the inside with plyfa, how can I do that without tearing down the wall?

Then it's better to cover with wind barrier and then plyfa, simply just a 45mm air gap without insulation?

Decided to install 45mm polystyrene boards and cover the inside with plyfa.
