Have searched for similar topics but found none that are relevant to today's knowledge.
This summer, I plan to re-drain with double layers of Isodrän and then proceed to additionally insulate the façade with new paneling and windows. The attic is already additionally insulated, so the only weak point in the house will be the basement wall above ground, about 80-100cm.
The basement walls are made of concrete hollow blocks, and I still want to maintain a rendered surface. However, I've heard that it's not optimal to place cell plastic directly on the foundation and then render due to moisture risk.
The idea was to place isodrän boards directly against the foundation, allowing rendering on them, and use pressure-treated timber to mount the windows.
Is there anything wrong with my plan, or are there any "smoother" or better alternatives for getting a rendered foundation?
