Does this post (95x95) appear to be properly pressure-treated? I expected that more or less the entire cut surface would be green, at least a centimeter in. I understand that the treatment solution cannot penetrate the heartwood. But if that was the case, the treatment should follow one of the growth rings, right? Now it mostly looks like the post hasn't been properly treated overall, in my opinion. Do the experts agree?

That's heartwood! It can't be pressure-treated; it's already impregnated with resin. Only the sapwood can be treated. Be happy, it "lasts a lifetime."

I think it looks quite normal for that density of the annual rings. Sending a picture of three 45x95 studs from the same batch, with slightly different "impregnation levels." The rightmost of the three below has really extreme density of the annual rings, so there's hardly any green at all on the inside of the heartwood.
