Those rascals usually only in exceptional cases (like smålandsvillan I THINK) put particleboard in the walls, but almost everyone uses floor particleboard.
Most use plasterboard in the walls.
Alternatives can be råspont, OSB board, or some other plywood variant.

Maybe, maybe not....
The OSB board is a product made from large wood shavings that are compressed under very high pressure. I believe some form of resin is used as an extra binder, but it's not in the quantities found in chipboard or MDF where it is practically a sauce of glue and shavings that hardens.
Plywood, sure, there is glue between the layers. But very little in comparison.

The Swedish National Institute for Working Life has conducted a small study on the träskivebranchen. It might be worth reading.
