Hello!

I have just renovated my bathroom and am now planning to install a countertop above the washing and drying machines without a base cabinet and need help with how to frame it so it can be securely attached and safe.

Studs, brackets, and/or legs. What is the best option?

The wall material is gypsum.
The countertop weighs about 50kg.
The dimensions of the countertop are approximately 1600 x 600mm.
Before the renovation, a laminate countertop was in the same place where this countertop is to be mounted.

Grateful for all help!

Why not mount five legs on the countertop? Two at each end and one in the middle between the machines

Or studs on the two walls and legs between the machines.
