Anyone have tips on a site with pictures of steel loft stairs or have their own tips and ideas on how to design a stylish staircase?
It should be 60 cm wide and 270 cm high, and the "depth" is 90 cm (quite steep, basically).
I have an idea to use a center-placed stringer in steel with steps in solid oak. What I'm mostly wondering about is how to achieve a nice attachment of the steps. The staircase will be visible from behind (basically the first thing you see when you enter the house).

Grateful for responses

Best regards, Macke

Hello!

I was considering a similar solution, and was thinking of making cutouts in the side beam.
Otherwise, the neatest option is probably to weld on small plates for the steps to rest on?
You can always recess them from underneath into the steps if you want thinner steps...

Best regards,
Kalle
