I have an inner window that is attached the wrong way, with the putty facing inwards. I want to turn it around, but I can't get it loose. I also see that moisture has gotten in and turned into black mold at the bottom of the outer window frame. So I'd also like to remove the inner window to clean it.

Does anyone have tips on how on earth I can remove the inner window without breaking the glass pane? I've tried inserting a screwdriver on one side and gently tapping on the other side, but the inner window only moves a little bit.

Is there some kind of "tool" that I could slide into the gap and then fold out on the inside, so I can pull the window inward and remove it? Or any other clever way?

Any tips?

Window corner with inner window sealed inward, moisture present leading to black mold growth on the lower frame, needing removal for cleaning.
