Hello,

I'm going to renovate an uninsulated porch by adding extra insulation and installing electric underfloor heating with tiles.

What I wonder is in what order it is best to do things. The current floor is a wooden floor, a couple of centimeters thick. I will lay down chipboard, plasterboard, and then cast the electric floor.

Additionally, I will put up framework for insulation along the current exterior walls.

I was thinking of laying the chipboard and plasterboard first and then doing the walls.

Is this sensible or should it be done in a different order?

I think that sounds like a reasonable workflow. That way, you'll have "real" flooring under everything you're building right now. Keep going!
