I have a crack between the concrete slab and the edge element on the patio and plan to repair it now before winter in case water/snow comes and it freezes.
I intend to repair the large crack with fine concrete, but the joint that runs along the entire length between the concrete slab and the edge element, I plan to seal with a flexible sealant, e.g., Beckers paint sealant.
Would this work or are there better ways?
I've been a homeowner for a year and am a bit unsure
