Outstanding part of the slab less than the casting pipe (150mm). Need the current height of the casting pipe (1200).
Considered casting a 10x30cm slab outside the edge, but is it suitable and if so how (drill in reinforcement into the slab etc?) How would you solve it?
For joists for decking and pool cover, not enormous weights but they shouldn't move. I was thinking of using two 8mm iron bars in each, is that enough? The outside will be filled with gravel/crushed stone after the wall is fully cured, and concrete will be laid at an angle along the rest for drainage.

Interesting, it certainly becomes easier.. so no problem letting that part "hang in the air" afterwards then?
If you're going to have gravel around the bottom part of the form pipe, you can fill before casting and skip the block, it doesn't need to be overworked.
